WTT FINANCE EXECUTIVE
Reports to: WTT Finance Manager/WTT Finance Director
This role is a multifaceted position designed for a detail-oriented professional who can manage both the standard accounting cycle and the specialized nuances of prize money disbursements. You will be responsible for the integrity of the ledger and ensuring all stakeholders—from vendors to prize winners—are paid accurately and on time.
RESPONSIBILITIES
ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE & CREDIT CONTROL
Invoicing: Generate and distribute accurate invoices and credit notes to clients.
Debt Collection: Proactively follow up on overdue payments via phone and email while maintaining professional client relationships.
Reconciliation: Perform daily bank reconciliations to ensure all incoming receipts are correctly allocated.
Reporting: Prepare aged debt reports and provide regular updates on "at-risk" accounts to management.
ACCOUNTS PAYABLE
Processing: Verify, code, and enter supplier invoices into the accounting system.
Disbursements: Prepare weekly or bi-monthly payment runs (via bank transfer).
Vendor Relations: Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to inquiries regarding payment status.
Expense Management: Audit and process employee expense claims in alignment with company policy.
PRIZE MONEY MANAGEMENT
Calculation & Validation: Verify winner eligibility and calculate net prize payouts based on event results.
Tax Compliance: Manage withholding tax requirements (e.g., W-8BEN/W-9 forms) and ensure local/international tax reporting is accurate.
Distribution: Execute prize payments securely and maintain a detailed audit trail of all disbursements.
Communication: Act as the point of contact for prize-related financial queries from winners or agents.
REQUIREMENTS
Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) and experience with accounting software (e.g., Xero, Zoho Expense, Approvalmax, etc).
Experience : 1-2 years of experience in a broad finance role covering both AR and AP. Open to fresh graduates.
Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or CIMA) are a plus.
